What do you do when you have rushed and packed up camp in so little time you are amazed at yourself? Do you go on a hike? Nope, tired frustrated kids and worn out parents. Do you go find a nice picnic area to let the kids play? Nope, you go to the DQ that's attached to a gas station in Heber and have ice cream while you wait to go set up for the fireworks. It's only 2 and the fireworks happen around 9! Oh, did I mention it was also raining while he had our ice cream. Oh well, ice cream and rain go well together we've found. It's not the first camping trip to Heber Area where we've taken a break from the rain with an ice cream from that same DQ!
