Girls Club and cookies for Father's day

I had such big father's day plans.  Making adorable sugar cookies with the pretty frosting.  Instead I threw together these cupcakes and let the kids do the decorating with the easy frosting.

Now I also did this with a whole handful of girls since we hosted girls club that day at our house.  It was busy and crazy but it became more about them and less about the finished picture. 

As much as I love a great finished picture.  I have to remind myself that not everything baked in my home needs to be picture worthy.  Sometimes love of kids is enough....even if no one will eat it since it is so covered with frosting and sprinkles in the end.
