Every morning Ellie wakes up and her hair looks something like this. We all cry as we have to brush it out. No matter what we try during the night it looks similar to this.
After many tears and much brushing we can finally get her to look like this...the girl we love!
With long hair we love to do fun things like this pineapple braid that Rachel did in her hair.
Rachel also wanted us to see how long her hair was getting, but she has different hair. It never snarls and never hurts her head to brush. This is what it looks like when she wakes up. No, it's not fair. Ask Ellie, she'll tell you.
We finally convinced Ellie to get a hair cut to save us all many tears. If it's shorter it can't have as many snarls in the morning. She was scared but we all love her new haircut.
She still doesn't wake up with hair that looks like this, but the amount of tears we have cut out of her life is drastic and we will enjoy that.
