Thanksgiving Feast at preschool

Ellie got all dressed up for a feast at preschool.  They had been learning about the first Thanksgiving so they had their own feast.  They learned that the pilgrims and indians shared their favorite things with each other so rather than traditional Thanksgiving type foods the kids brought their favorite things.
They enjoyed:  Strawberry yogurt, raspberry jello with whip cream, marshmellow turkeys, cucumbers, fruit by the foot, juice boxes and chocolate ice cream.  Ellie brought the chocolate ice cream.  Yum what a feast!

A couple funny Ellie-isms:
big debate of the morning for the five year old, to bring a hanger or barbie for show and tell today.
If she brought a hanger she would pull it from behind her back and tell her class.  This is a hanger that my mom uses to put clothes away. Then she would put it back behind her back.  (It was just a plain old cheap white plastic hanger.)

"Guess what mom, Tomorrow's Tomorrow"s tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day!"--Ellie

Ellie just came and told me she thinks she is going to have a migraine the day after tomorrow while she cradles her head. I love that girl but I hate todays migraine!

Ellie's big dilema right now is what to bring to the preschool feast on Monday. Cheese pizza with salt, buttered bread or chocolate ice cream. Those are her three favorite foods and her teacher said to bring her favorite food to share with the class.
