So, there are times in life where you just go...boys will be boys! Looking at this lovely jar of creepies is one of those moments. So Matthew found that nice large scorpion in our house and caught it and put it in the jar. They had lots of fun not giving it any food or water for 2 1/2 months. Scorpion still alive and working his hardest to get out of the jar. Then they decided they wanted to see it eat so they caught a cricket and put it in the jar. Within a day the cricket was just a black pile of skeleten. They next found a tiny scorpion and put him in with the big one and the cricket guts. Here is all those friends together. Ellie was super excited that her "pet" scorpion now has sa friend. Well, after 3 weeks the big scorpion was a cannibal and ate the smaller one. So mean. Ellie is currently really mad at the big one for doing that. Next on the boys "experiments" with the scorpion....spinkle baking soda on it. From what they have been told it will stink itself to death They can't wait to see. I can't wait to not have them on my kitchen counter anymore.
