Over fall break the boys and John went camping for a few days. The boys had just finished the geocaching merit badge clinic and loved it so much they convinced John to take them geocaching.
It's always fun to see what pictures come back from a campout with the boys. Does this pizza look tasty or what? I tried to tell them afterwards that they didn't need to use the entire container of sauce and every single pepperoni in one package in one pizza.
They spent some time checking things up and setting things up. Matthew mostly hung out in the tent the first night due to all the fresh sores on his feet. (Previous post tells why)
But by the next day though he went on a nice long hike to do some geocaching. They enjoyed the time out there exploring together.
They thought the "wildlife" they saw while hiking around was pretty cool.
But you can't end the camp out without a great picture of "boy feet" to document how dirty and gross the whole event was.
I'm just glad they enjoyed themselves and they have a dad who enjoys going out and doing it with them

the pics are pretty good ones. funny about the pizza. hope it cooked with all the toppings on it! love that camping is so part of them.
