With as crazy as our weekend was, it was questionable whether or not the eggs were going to be colored. But since I had already boiled the eggs, and I had already bought the stuff we did it anyway.
It was late Saturday evening by the time we colored the eggs. But the kids had fun. We found a painting system that we thought would be fun for Ellie. All the kids really enjoyed it. Ellie used it not to make patterns and multiple colors, but to actually cover the entire egg herself. She thought it was much more fun than dropping it in color.
The one downfall we found however is that sponge roller paint stuff for the eggs dries sticky. It's a mess. Peeling the eggs are a mess with it. Don't use it!
But in the end we did have beautiful eggs that made all the kids happy.

It's funny...it's so fun for the kids, not so much for the adults. :D They look like they had fun, and that's what matters.
