How can that be? I'm not old enough to have a kid in what was JR high for me growing up. That's where the big kids go! It has been a real shock to me to have him in 7th grade!
He's excited and nervous about what this year will bring for him. Having 7 different teachers likely means a LOT of homework which makes me nervous, especially for a kid who loves his sports! I wish him all the best for the coming year! Here's to hoping we don't have too many all nighter or late nighters getting homework done for all his many teachers!
So teachers, please remember my kid is still a kid, and can have a little time to be a kid. And please remember you aren't his only teacher anymore. Give the kid a break this year!
