Family fun...

One thing that I enjoy about having family come to town is how we just try to "stop" as much as we can all the normal life stuff and just enjoy each other. We just sit and hang out and play together.

My brother Lorenzo, his wife Kim and their kids Leila and Mahonri along with Kim's sister Kristin and my mom Grandma Heidi were at our house all day to play after the baptism.


It is one of those good crazy times. Where some many moments are just sheer pandemonium as every does things together and their own things all at the same time. We got to throw in the mix John going with me to the soccer field to work for a couple hours as they were short staffed and the family just took care of each other while we were gone.

Pancakes and fruit salad for breakfast, tasty homemade sandwiches for lunch and the biggest hodgepodge dinner you'd ever seen. Seriously we had stuffing, leftover beef and beans, rice, asparagus, salad, leftover steak, leftover corned beef and boiled potatoes just to name some of the things on our table that night.

But it was quick and easy, it cleaned out my fridge, no one complained and everyone left or went to bed with a full stomach. That is a successful day if you ask me!
