Ellie through the looking glass

This post is all about bragging. So if that annoys you it's a good one to move on and skip. I wanted to post a few fun pictures of Ellie from lately. Nothing spectacular, just a treat for that family out of state who always wants more pictures. She is a really funny girl. She has understood what we've said for a long time but hasn't talked. How do we know she has understood you ask? All you have to do is look into her eyes. I'm telling you that girl has got it all going on up there in her little brain of hers. Anyone who interacts with her will attest to the truth of that statement. She has always answered you with her eyes, but she has really started to communicate in other ways, well beside just screaming, which she does but we don't love! Anyway, she has started a little signing to get what she wants. She says please and thank you in sign. It's so cute! We are working on signing YES since when you ask her something and she doesn't want it she says no. When she does want it she says no. Not really helpful. But she also is starting to really talk. It is fun to listen to her copy what we say. Things like sheep BAAA, Dogs WOOP, Cats MEEEEOOOOWWWW, and cows MEOW, notice the difference in the two animals there! It is pretty fun! We have creative animals at our house! She is also starting to say other things. It is that funny not really understandable if you didnt' know what she was trying to say. How ever you look at it you got to love that girl! Also, there are some of these pictures from my brother's house where Ellie was making faces and giving kisses through the glass. It was so funny to watch her play. I think she could have done that all night long! So funny! As I said, to watch her is to love her there is no question at all!
