A Visit to the Organ Stop Restaurant
One of the fun things we've done over the summer with Rachel's friend Summer and her family was to visit a fun restaurant in Mesa called the Organ Stop Restaurant. Summer had watched Buster from the kids cartoon Arthur visit it, in postcards from Buster. Well, when they realized it was so close to where they were visiting friends we decided we needed to go. It's a fun pizza joint with a huge organ. It is set up with all sorts of instruments around that the organ player can control with the organ, also with all the pipes every where. He could play some of the funnest songs. But for me the highlight of the night was watching the boys faces when the organ player started to play the theme song to Indiana Jones and Starwars. The boys had requested the songs and they got played! Rachel was sad we didn't stay the entire night to see if he would play the hokey pokey she requested. Gotta love that girl! I also love pizza with Ellie. That girl can seriously put it down. It was a good four plus pieces she ate. She has a definite system as to how they should be eaten, pick all the topping off if there are any. Then pick all the cheese off. If there is any sauce visible then that must be licked off. Once you've done all that you flip the pizza over and see if there are any little bits to pick off and eat off the bottom. If you have exhausted everything you can pick from any side you may then proceed to just eat what's left of the pizza. Funny girl! It was a really fun night. My only tidbit on the place is they are a cash only place. So go prepared if you decide to stop in!

That is so funny that 'Buster' visited Organ Stop. Morgan used to watch that show. Isn't that place something else? Not a good place for conversation when they're playing the organ but definitely good entertainment! I wish my kids ate pizza like Ellie! They can't stand if there's too much sauce. You guys did a great job speaking in church, btw!
