We love it here in Arizona when the rain hits. So when it's 109 outside and a complete downpour the only answer to run outside and splash and play in the rain until you are completely drenched.
You never know how long it's going to last as all to often it's intense but very brief. By the time we noticed the rain and got outside to play in it it only rained for about 10 minutes. So there was no time to change out of church clothes if you were still in them. There was no point in doing anything but running out to play. Even if it was about dark outside when it happened.

So we enjoyed some splashing and playing and came in and crashed hard.
I do love how Ellie loves to watch the "fireworks" in the sky that proceeds a rainstorm around here.

i love all your cakes! they are just so awesome. i remember that storm...it was stuck up and snobby and wouldn't come visit our area. i'm glad your kids enjoyed it to the fullest!
