So we made a last minute decision for me to take the kids up to Utah for fall break. We got in town in time to see my nephew's final soccer game of the season. It was kind of fun to be standing there on the sidelines with my brother. When he was this age I was his coach. Oh how we have all grown up.
One thing we noticed about my nephew is Mahonri really loves to come in from behind and push the kids away from the ball. He doesn't tend to kick very much, just to move everyone else away from the ball also. He loves to dog pile when ever he can come up with any reason for it.
We did see him score his first goal. It was on his own goal, but it was the only score by his team so we'll take it! Way to go Mahonri!
