I love that we have taken the time to make a tradition out getting to the school early that first day, and not rushing. We are able to take pictures of the kids and as a group, we were able to take pictures of some of our friends kids on their first day.
It's a nice thing that we are able to start out our school year with such relaxing calm. No panic rush. It also helps me to not be emotional when dropping them off. There is the routine of what we are doing. And I get some nice pictures of my kids out of it too.
