Christmas in Disneyland

Our Christmas was so much fun this year. Instead of spending money on more toys my kids don't need we decided to invest in a memory for chistmas this year. So we surprised the kids with a trip to Disneyland. We didn't tell the kids we were going until we were there. We loaded them in the car in the middle of the night and woke them up at Disneyland. They were so excited. We spent the 19th and 20th in Disneyland. It was a great time since the Christmas rush hadn't arrived yet. Plus it was a little rainy the two days we were there so it brought the numbers down even more. We hopped on and off rides like crazy. But even with minimal lines and two days we didn't even come close to seeing and doing everything. The boys didn't want to miss out on anything no matter the weather so they went on Grizzly River Rapids in the rain after dark. Can we say crazy???? But it was one of the things they didn't want to miss so they did it. And then they froze. They had to go to the bathrooms and strip off wet stuff and ring them out to survive the rest of the night. One thing we did that was a highlight was lunch with the princesses. We were disappointed that there weren't as many as we would have liked to see, but we got the biggies so it was worth it. Rachel loved just talking and being friends with the princesses. Plus we all got our ears which is a big deal for me. It is one of those things that all my friends did when they went to Disney so I made sure we did it, names embroidered on the back and all. Definately a merry christmas to us.
