Was it John's or Ellie's birthday?

Ellie keeps life exciting. There is no question about that. She totally took over John's birthday this year. It was pretty funny to watch her do it one step at a time.

John said he didn't care what his cake looked like. This is what he gets when his three year old daughter gets to decide and help decorate his cake. So pretty.

We had only bought him a dutch oven for his birthday. But Ellie really thought he needed new shoes. So she gave him a pair of Matthew's shoes and was not content until they were on his feet. For days she would get bugged with Matthew every time he wore the shoes she had given daddy.

She is a funny girl who successfully took over John's birthday. But he loves her so it's all okay!
