Matthew loves sports. Though soccer is by far his favorite he has learned that when you go to a small campus school you don't always get to play soccer so he is now having a try at baseball.
He plays 3rd base and really enjoys it. He's made it on base a few times, and loves to slide for a steal. He even scored by sliding. It brings a smile to his face when he gets to do cool things like that, that make his pants super dirty for me to clean. It has taken quite a bit of new learning on my part to figure out how to get red dirt out of white pants. Oh the wonderful things we do for our kids.
But honestly, seeing the huge smiles on his face when he's out there doing something he loves, feeling such a part of a team is totally worth all the hours washing and scrubbing his white pants. Go Cardinals!
