Photography class

I know I posted more pictures of these on my photography blog, but for those who don't look at that I wanted to share about the day here on my family blog. I have had the opportunity to take a few photography classes to get better with my camera. I love taking them from different places and photographers as they all have different styles and different ways they look at things.

As you can see it was a huge class which is very different from any I've done before. But I learned a lot and am so glad I was able to go.

Here are just a couple pictures from this class. They spent a lot more time on inanimate objects which is fun and not something I'd really done alot. We also worked on capturing movement and freezing movement which not one of the things I have been great at.

Val the teacher in this class also took these pictures of me.

Thank you groupon for having such a great deal that John could get me this class for my birthday and then John for taking the day off work to take care of Ellie so I could go!
